Welcome to the website for the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board!
The NCALB has recently received many questions regarding the use of Groupon, Twongo, Living Social, etc. deals within their practice. According to NCGS 90-456 1(b) & 1(d), this is prohibited by licensed acupuncturists in North Carolina. Please contact the NCALB office if you have questions. NCGS 90-456 can be viewed here under the "NC General Statute Governing Acupunture" link. About the NCALB
The purpose of the NCALB is to promote the health, safety and welfare of the North Carolina public through the licensure and regulation of acupuncturists.
